About Geldbach Gruppe

Geldbach Gruppe GmbH & Co. KG traces its roots back to the early 1970s, when Dr. Manfred Geldbach led Wilhelm Geldbach GmbH in Gelsenkirchen as Managing Director. Wilhelm Geldbach has been active in the flange business since 1903 and laid the foundation for what would later become the Geldbach Group.

In 1999, Wilhelm Geldbach GmbH and the Geldbach Group became legally independent entities. Today, Geldbach Gruppe remains a 100% family-owned company, managed by the third generation and partly already by the fourth generation of the Geldbach family.

Group Structure & Global Presence

The Geldbach Group operates as an investment holding with 33 legally and economically independent subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. Of these, four are production companies specializing in flanges, fittings, and pipe bends, while 29 are stockholding distribution companies.

These distribution companies primarily market the products of their sister companies, while also cooperating closely with other renowned and qualified manufacturers worldwide.

Manufacturing Excellence

With Wilhelm Geldbach GmbH, focusing mainly on stainless steels, and Manfred Geldbach GmbH, specialized in carbon and medium-alloyed steels, the group includes two of the last remaining manufacturers approved according to AD-W0, PED, and ISO 9001.

All products are certified in Germany and are supplied with a German certificate and a guarantee liability enforceable in Germany, ensuring maximum reliability and legal security for customers.

The international production company M. Geldbach (Shanxi) Flange & Fittings Co. Ltd. operates with the full technical know-how of the German holding company and holds the same approvals as its sister companies.

With Lindemann GmbH & Co. KG, a German fittings manufacturer fully certified to all relevant standards, the group offers an exceptionally flexible production partner, capable of manufacturing not only standard carbon steels but also special wall thicknesses and high-performance alloys.

The newest addition to the fittings production portfolio, Apco-Geldbach Yingkou, is currently under development.

International Network

Beyond manufacturing, the Geldbach Group maintains a strong global presence with subsidiaries located in Egypt, Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom.

Almost all manufacturers within the group are certified by internationally recognized classification and inspection bodies such as DNV, GL, LRS, SGS, and UDT.
